Printing Specialist wins another "Q" award...

Dedication to quality has made Printing Specialist the printing choice of both large and small companies for over 40 years. In an industry that grants few awards for excellence, we are proud to have four times received the highest honor a small printer can earn, the “Little Q” award and this year won our second "Digital Q" for best of show on a digital press (we produced 3 of the 5 pieces that were nominated for the Digital Q).

Industry Expertise and State-of-the-Art Equipment

Industry expertise must be coupled with state-of-the-art equipment, and at Printing Specialist, we create results by using the latest printing technology. Our graphics department can take your Mac or PC files and output the final images to our color proofer, directly to our Indigo press, or onto plates for our Heidelberg presses through our automated, chemistry-free platesetter.

We are masters of successful color printing on our many Heidelberg presses. In addition, our new 13" x 19" Indigo Digital press will print one copy or several thousand copies with variable data available on both sides of each sheet.

Our in-house finishing and die-cutting equipment can put the final touches on any job, to truly set it apart from the crowd.

What is an Indigo?

An HP Indigo is sort of a hybrid between a digital color copier and an offset press. It prints like a press, using a liquid ink and an offset process, but because it has 6 color digital imaging heads in place of conventional printing plates, each image can be completely different from the next. The quality of the image is virtually identical to conventional printing.
